Sacramento County Probation Association Endorses Rich Desmond for Supervisor

Sacramento, CA -- Rich Desmond, candidate for Sacramento County Supervisor District 3, announced today that his campaign has been endorsed by the Sacramento County Probation Association. 

"In the race for Sacramento County Board of Supervisor District 3, the  Sacramento County Probation Association (SCPA) would like to formally endorse Candidate Rich Desmond," said Greg Stuber, SCPA President. "This vote by the SCPA Board of Directors was unanimous and without reservation. The Board of Directors has determined him to be highly qualified, motivated and very knowledgeable about public safety issues, especially with regards to Probation. Through his extensive knowledge and experience with the California Highway Patrol, Rich Desmond understands the important role Probation Officers play in our community, particularly under realignment. He is a fifth generation Sacramento County resident who cares deeply for his community and will make a great addition to the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors. We look forward to working with him for a safer community."

The SCPA Board of Directors proudly represents Sacramento County Probation Officers in the Youth Detention Facility, Adult Field Supervision, Juvenile Field Supervision, Community Corrections, Placement, Adult Court Services and Juvenile Court Services.
